This is information from our colleagues at the Danish newspaper BT: Jonas Vingegaard, the winner of the Tour de France 2022, will line up at the start of the Bretagne Classic, on Sunday 28 August in Plouay. “He is ready to run the Bretagne Classic,” explains Ard Birens, Jumbo-Visma training press manager, to our colleagues. The latter specifies that the Tour of Lombardy will be Vingegaard’s main goal at the end of the season.
Jonas Vingegaard has already competed in the Bretagne Classic last year: he was ranked 61st.
After Thaddeus Pogacar, Watt van Aert, David Gaudou, Valentin Maduas and Warren Bargil, the next edition of the Bretagne Classic still looks very promising.
