The Australian signs a contract with the official team for 2023 and 2024
Brad Binder recovered, Miguel Oliveira thanked
Jack Miller has been riding Ducati prototypes in the premier Grand Prix class for many years now. But the Australian, who joined the official team last season, cannot show enough consistency to challenge for the title.
At the same time, he faces his team-mate Francesco Bagnaia and young shooters such as Enea Bastianini or Jorge Martin, who dream of taking his place in the official Desmosedici. Rumors of departure grew louder and louder. Now it is confirmed.
Jack Miller just signed a two-year deal with KTM. From 2023, he will ride a KTM RC16 for the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team.
At the age of only 27, Jack Miller is already playing his 9th season in the premier category of the Grand Prix, it must be said that the rise of the Australian has been rapid. Arriving in Moto3 in 2012 and coming close to the title in the 2014 season, the Townsville rider was recruited by Honda to the premier category in 2015 to develop with the LCR Honda team.
A set that will also get the ink flowing. Between injuries and injuries, the Australian struggled to adapt to MotoGP and left Honda after three seasons to join Ducati and the Pramac Racing team in 2018. For three years in the junior team of the Italian manufacturer, he gradually positioned himself as a safe bet in the championship. and finally won his place in the official team in 2021.
It is Miguel Oliveira, the rider of Tech3 and then of the official team after his debut in MotoGP, who bears the costs of this kit, as it will not be renewed next season. So Miller will be tied with Brad Binder for the next two seasons.

pit bearDirector – KTM Motorsports:
We have known Jack since his breakthrough in our Moto3 program with Aki. So it’s a great pleasure to integrate him into our MotoGP structure. We have always maintained good relations. His approach and attitude are very similar to ours. I am very proud to have him back on the Red Bull KTM line-up. He is a great addition to our mission.
