Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, under contract with Chelsea until 2025, is in the sights of Napoli, according to Gianluca Di Marzio. Negotiations are ongoing.
Recruited from Athletic Bilbao by Chelsea four years ago for 80 million euros, Kepa Arrizabalaga (27), relegated to the hierarchy for two seasons by the talented Edouard Mendy, could leave the English club this summer.
Negotiations in progress, a loan mentioned
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli, who recently released David Ospina from any contract, are interested in the services of the Spain international goalkeeper (11 caps) and are currently in talks with Chelsea over a loan. The Italian journalist assures that the Blues are willing to pay three quarters of the salary of Kepa Arrizabalaga, who would come to compete with Alex Meret in the ranks of the Partenopei.
This same source adds that certain bonuses are currently being discussed, which could therefore suggest that the loan would be repaid, while nothing has been indicated about a possible purchase option, or not.
