Christophe Galtier’s two-year PSG coach contract has not been approved by the Federal Commission of Football Educators and Coaches that met on July 28. In his minutes, he says he put his opinion under advisement and “Ask Christophe Galtier to approach the National Technical Director regarding his continuing education obligations”.
In fact, the 55-year-old did not “reform” his UEFA Pro diploma, a sort of refresher of his knowledge. According to the regulations, each coach must run one every three years with the annual promotion of coaches who pass the Professional Football Coach Certificate (BEPF).
Galtier will have to write a letter to the FFF committing to comply as soon as possible, probably during one of the next international breaks. Among the rest of the professional clubs, only Jérôme Monier, assistant of Sochaux (L2), is in the same situation according to this report.
